Context
The Create Salesforce Task action allows you to create tasks in Salesforce directly from Demandbase.
Important: Salesforce prevents actions from being taken on more than 100 accounts or people at a time. The limit only applies to the Take Action functionality. If you have the Orchestration solution, you can use Automations without this limitation.
Prerequisites/Preparation
Demandbase Salesforce Integration.
Steps
- Select accounts or people to create Salesforce tasks for and click Take Action.
- In the right Take Action section, select the CRM tab and click Create Salesforce Task.
- Enter a Subject or click +{{ Token }} to use a token in your subject line to help define the subject. Tokens allow you to write the value from one field to another.
- From the Assignee drop-down list, select a Salesforce user to assign the task to.
- In the Due in Day(s) field, enter the number of days the assignee has to complete the task.
- Enter a Comment or click +{{ Token }} to use a token in your subject line to help define the subject.
- Click Confirm.
Outcome
Demandbase sends a request to Salesforce to create and assign tasks for the accounts or people selected.
