Take Action: Change Data

Context

The Change Account Data and Change Person Data actions allow you to change field values in your Salesforce account directly from Demandbase. 

Prerequisites/Preparation

Demandbase Salesforce Integration.

Steps: Change Account Data

  1. Select accounts to change field values for and click Take Action.
  2. In the right Take Action section, select the CRM tab and click Change Account Data.

  3. Select the Account Field you want to change.
  4. Select or enter the New Field Value. The options available depend on the account field you selected.
    Tip: For fields that allow you to enter a value, you can select Token to write the value from another field to the one you selected.
  5. Click Confirm.

Steps: Change Person Data

  1. Select people to change field values for and click Take Action.
  2. In the right Take Action section, select the CRM tab and click Change Person Data.

  3. Select the Lead/Contact Field you want to change. 
  4. Select or enter the New Field Value. The options available depend on the person field you selected.
    Tip: For fields that allow you to enter a value, you can select Token to write the value from another field to the one you selected.
  5. Click Confirm.

Outcome

Demandbase changes the account or person field values during the next scheduled sync with your Salesforce account.
