From Demandbase, you can send account and people Audiences to LinkedIn Campaign Manager. In LinkedIn, these Audiences appear as source = Third-party Demandbase.
Important: Audience records are matched by LinkedIn. See LinkedIn’s article on How to Get the Best Match Rates From Your LinkedIn Ads List Uploads.
When adding LinkedIn as a destination, you can select the following options to define how the Audience is created and managed in LinkedIn:
- Create New: Creates a new Audience in LinkedIn.
- Create New And Replace: Creates a new Audience and replaces the existing Audience in LinkedIn. The original Audience is not deleted and remains available in LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Use Existing: Overwrites an existing Audience with updated Audience members in LinkedIn. You can only select LinkedIn Audiences that were created through Demandbase and are not currently syncing with another Demandbase Audience.
Tips:
- To update destinations for an Audience, you must first deactivate the Audience from the Scheduler tab. After saving your changes, reactivate the Audience to resume syncing.
- If a campaign is deleted in LinkedIn, Demandbase continues attempting to sync the Audience. To prevent this, edit or delete the Audience in Demandbase.
