Add Automation Actions to Manage Static Account Lists

Context

When you create an Automation, you can add actions to add or remove accounts from static account lists from the Actions tab. These actions allow you to automate adding or removing accounts that meet the Selector criteria you specify.

The actions you can add depend on the member type (Account or Person) selected for an Automation. See Automation Actions

Prerequisites/Preparation

You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set with the required access to use Orchestration.

You have the Demandbase Orchestration solution.

Set up static account lists

Steps: Add Accounts to Static Lists

  1. From the left navigation bar, go to Orchestration_N.png Orchestration > Automations.
  2. Click Create New to create a new Automation or click the name of an existing Automation.
  3. Click the Actions tab and click the plus icon.
    Tip: You can add multiple actions to an Automation. If an Automation already has an action added, click + Add Action to add another action.

  4. In the Add Action window, select the Demandbase tab and click Add to Existing Static List
  5. In the Add to Existing Static List window, select the account list to add accounts to in the Add to List drop-down list.

  6. Click Save.

Steps: Remove Accounts from Static Lists

  1. From the left navigation bar, go to Orchestration_N.png Orchestration > Automations.
  2. Click Create New to create a new Automation or click the name of an existing Automation.
  3. Click the Actions tab and click the plus icon.
    Tip: You can add multiple actions to an Automation. If an Automation already has an action added, click + Add Action to add another action.

  4. In the Add Action window, select the Demandbase tab and click Remove from Static List
  5. In the Remove from Static List window, select the account list to remove accounts from in the Remove from List drop-down list.

  6. Click Save.

Outcome

When the Automation runs, Demandbase identifies accounts that meet the Selector criteria and adds or removes them from the selected account lists. 

Next Steps

Click the Scheduler tab to set up the schedule and frequency for the Automation to run.
