Set Match Score Thresholds

You can control the quality of matched data returned by Demandbase by setting match score thresholds for accounts, contacts, and leads. These thresholds determine the minimum match score required for a record to be accepted during enrichment or data updates.

The match settings configured apply to Demandbase One for Sales as well as Data Integrity, Enrich, and Refresh products.

Important: If you have a Demandbase One for Sales or Data Integrity account, the match score settings also apply to Demandbase One for Marketing. Otherwise, the default match setting score in Demandbase One for Marketing is 70 for Accounts, Contacts and Leads.

Prerequisites

You must have admin privileges in Demandbase One for Sales.

Steps

1. Log into Demandbase One for Sales.
2. Access the Admin Portal using one of the following options:
   
   
   • Demandbase One for Sales web app: From the left navigation bar, go to Settings, and click Unified Admin Portal at the top of the page.
   • Demandbase One for Sales iFrame or browser extension: Click the three lines at the top right, and click Admin.
3. From the left navigation menu, go to Account Settings > Tech Settings.
4. Click Match Settings.
   
5. For Account, Contact, and Leads, move the slider left or right to adjust the match score thresholds.
   
6. Click Save.
7. Log out of Demandbase One for Sales and close all windows and tabs.
8. Open a new window and log back in to Demandbase One for Sales.
