Workato enables connections across thousands of applications through a low-code platform. The Demandbase connector lets you build automated workflows, called recipes, to import data, search companies and contacts, and match and enrich accounts.
Recipes start with a trigger, such as a new file in Amazon S3 or an update in Salesforce, and run actions to move and process data across systems. See Workato’s articles Getting Started and Create your first recipe.
Workato users can also build custom recipes using Demandbase APIs and share them with the community.
Key Features
The Demandbase connector in Workato allows you to do the following:
- Search for Companies and Contacts
- Account match
- Enrich account data
- Get company Technographics
- Import Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, and Leads into Demandbase
Important: When you import Workato data into Demandbase, the data source appears as CSV.
Prerequisites
- You must have a license for Workato.
- You must have Admin permissions in Demandbase.
- You must Get an API Token from Demandbase.
Demandbase Recipes
To use one of the Demandbase created recipes, log in to your Workato account, go to the Community Library, and search for Demandbase.
Demandbase/Company and Contact Data
Demandbase: Enrich new created Account from Salesforce and update it back to Salesforce
When a new account is created in Salesforce, the recipe triggers a search in Demandbase for the corresponding account. If a match is found, the Salesforce account record is updated with firmographic, technographic, and intent data from Demandbase.
Demandbase: Enrich new created Contact from Salesforce and update it back to Salesforce
When a new contact is created in Salesforce, the recipe triggers a search in Demandbase for the corresponding contact. If a match is found, the Salesforce contact record is updated with people data from Demandbase.
Demandbase: update Company Technographics back to Salesforce
When an account record is modified in Salesforce, the recipe triggers a search in Demandbase for the corresponding account. If a match is found, the Salesforce account record is updated with technographic data from Demandbase.
Demandbase/Data Import
Intent activity import
When a new CSV file is detected in a designated Amazon S3 bucket, the recipe triggers the creation of an import job, then pushes Intent Activity data to Demandbase.
Account import for Salesforce
When a new CSV file is detected in a designated Amazon S3 bucket, the recipe triggers the creation of an import job, then pushes Account data to Demandbase.
Opportunity import
When a new CSV file is detected in a designated Amazon S3 bucket, the recipe triggers the creation of an import job, then pushes Opportunity data to Demandbase.
Person (Contact/Lead) import
When a new CSV file is detected in a designated Amazon S3 bucket, the recipe triggers the creation of an import job, then pushes Person data to Demandbase.
