Enable Field Auto-Population

  • Updated

In some instances, you may want Demandbase to automatically populate visible form fields with enrichment data. This can reduce the amount of information visitors need to enter manually, improve form completion rates, and help ensure data consistency. Common use cases include populating fields such as Company Name, Industry, Country, State, or Number of Employees when that information is available through Demandbase identification methods.

To populate a visible field, update your form design reference so that the field's HTML ID or name attribute is mapped to the Demandbase attribute you want to display.

  • New fields: If you create new form fields that have not previously been mapped to Demandbase, notify Demandbase Support of the fields you want included in the enrichment configuration. Demandbase updates the configuration and deploy the changes. No additional action is required on your end.
  • Existing fields: If you make a hidden field that is already mapped and populated by Demandbase visible to users, the field begins displaying enrichment data immediately. No additional configuration or support request is required.

When configuring visible field population, ensure that the HTML IDs or name attributes of the target fields match the values defined in your enrichment configuration so Demandbase can identify and populate them correctly.
