Introduction
Communication that has a blacklisted email address or domain, will not be synced to Demandbase, and will not show up in the Communication History.
To blacklist email addresses, domains, or accounts:
Step 1. Click the Settings cogwheel icon in the left panel.
Step 2. Under Platform, select Email Auto Locking.
Step 3. Within the Email Auto Locking section, you can select Demandbase users to blacklist from the drop-down menu, or switch to the text view to type email addresses manually. (Emails entered manually can be internal or external email addresses.)
To blacklist an entire email domain, type: @domain.com.
Communication between Demandbase users and blacklisted accounts will not be synced to Demandbase. Communication History will not be available for blacklisted accounts.
Blacklisting any internal accounts is recommended if you have demo accounts or other divisions of your organization that are listed as Accounts in your CRM.
In the Blacklisted Accounts section, select an account you want to blacklist from the drop-down menu, or switch to the text view to type Account Names manually.
You can also create a global rule for how to handle emails when they include a Demandbase user, an external Account, but also a non-Demandbase user from within your organization (Finance, Security, or other non-Demandbase users).
