Step 6: (Optional) Add Demandbase One for Marketing as a Tab in Salesforce

You can add Demandbase One for Marketing as a custom tab in Salesforce Lightning or Salesforce Classic. Once configured, the tab allows you to access Demandbase One for Marketing directly from Salesforce.

Prerequisites to Add Demandbase One for Marketing as a Tab in Salesforce

• You must have Admin privileges within your Salesforce environment to create tabs. 
• Salesforce users must also have a user profile in Demandbase One for Marketing.

Add Demandbase One for Marketing as a Tab in Salesforce Lightning

1. Log in to Salesforce as an Admin user.
2. Click top right Setup.  
3. In the left panel, navigate to User Interface > Tabs. 
4. Go to Web Tabs > New.
5. Choose Full page width and click Next.
   
6. Configure the label: 
   • Tab Label: Demandbase
   • Tab Name: Demandbase
   • Tab Style: Can be any of the default styles, or you can create a custom style.
   • Frame Height: 600 pixels.
     
7. Click Next.
8. In Button or Link URL, enter https://web.demandbase.com/o/a.
9. Click Next. 
   
10. Assign tab visibility to user profiles. 
11. Click Next. 
12. Add tab to Custom Apps. If you do not add the tab to Apps such as "Marketing" and "Sales", it is unavailable to users assigned to those Apps. 
13. Click Save. 

Add Demandbase One for Marketing as a Tab in Salesforce Classic

1. Log in to Salesforce as an Admin user.
2. Click top right Setup. 
3. In the left panel, navigate to Build > Create and click Tabs.
   
4. Go to Web Tabs > New.
5. Choose Full page width.
   
6. Click Next.
7. Configure the label: 
   • Tab Label: Demandbase
   • Tab Name: Demandbase
   • Tab Style: Can be any of the default styles, or you can create a custom style.
   • Frame Height: 600 pixels.
     
8. Click Next.
9. In Button or Link URL, enter https://web.demandbase.com/o/a.
10. Click Next. 
    
11. Assign tab visibility to user profiles. 
12. Click Next.

14. Click Save.

Remove the Demandbase One for Marketing Tab in Salesforce

1. Log in to Salesforce as an Admin user.
2. Click top right Setup.  
3. In the left panel, Quick Search for Tabs.
4. Go to User Interface > Custom Tabs > Web Tabs.
5. Next to Demandbase, click Del.
6. In the confirmation pop-up, click Ok.
