Integrate Slack with Demandbase

The Demandbase Slack integration allows you to access Demandbase insights and alerts directly in Slack.

You can also connect Demandbase MCP with Slack. See Demandbase MCP and Slack.

Access Demandbase App in Slack

Access the Demandbase App in Slack to view Demandbase alerts, subscriptions, and AI-generated insights.

Home tab: View the Demandbase AI Insights Hub daily summary.
Messages tab:
- Demandbase Agent: Engage with Demandbase AI Chat for Demandbase insights.
- Subscriptions: Receive subscriptions, including Website Visitor alerts, in Slack.

You must have Admin privileges in Slack or have been granted the privilege to install apps from your Slack Admin.
You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set with the required Demandbase settings access.

In Demandbase, from the left navigation bar, go to Settings > Integrated Systems > Integrations.
Click New Integration and select Slack.
Toggle on the Active button and click Save.

Go to the Demandbase App in the Slack Marketplace.
Click Sign In to Install.
Click Add to Slack.
Log in to Slack and click Authorize.
Important: In Slack, you must have admin rights or have been granted the privilege to install apps.
After successful login, you're redirected to the Demandbase Authorization Succeeded screen.
Grant the following permissions for Demandbase:
- Bot Scopes:
  - chat:write
  - team:read
  - users:read
  - users:read.email
  - assistant:write
  - Im:history
  - mcp:connect (Optional: For Slackbot MCP integration)
- Bot Events:
  - app_home_opened
  - message.im

In Slack, scroll down to Agents & Apps.
Next to Agents & Apps, click the right three lines, and click Browse Apps.
Search for and select Demandbase.
Click Open App.
