EDIT AUDIENCES FAQS:
Can you edit an audience created in Site Analytics?
This capability is not currently available.
Can you edit the audience and use “Save As” to save the edited audience with a different name?
No, editing an audience overwrites the existing audience.
If someone wants to undo changes, how do they do that?
You can click the cogwheel icon next to the audience and click Change History to see what changes are made and then go back to edit the audience to what it originally was.
Do I have to pause a campaign before editing the audience since settings are disabled for audiences tied to a campaign?
Yes, you need to pause the campaign in order to access settings and be able to edit the audience tied to that campaign.
WHAT PROBLEM DOES IT SOLVE?
Previously, audiences you created in Demandbase could not be edited. If any attributes needed to change for an existing audience, you needed to recreate the audience from scratch and delete the original audience which takes time. Also, previously if you wanted to modify an audience based on the results of a campaign you either had to continue using the existing audience (until the campaign ended) or create a new audience from scratch. Now with editable audiences you can avoid these time consuming steps.
