Targeting Solution Improvements
Decreased in Bot Traffic to Customer Landing Pages
On June 24th, a series of improvements to the Targeting Solution were deployed to address the high rate of Demandbase lands in Google Analytics identified as “Bot”.
How the Improvements Were Achieved
- Demandbase worked with ad eco-systems providers and ad exchanges directly to filter out certain creative validators.
- Improved the cookie syncing technology.
- Made private deals with publisher networks to get access to higher quality inventory.
- Removed non-optimal ad exchanges and publishers with excessive creative validator traffic from our whitelist.
