OVERVIEW

Demandbase offers you options for executing account-based advertising using the Targeting Solution. Demandbase will build personalized HTML ad banners for you using files you submit to us. We can even personalize your animated files. Here are important specifications to follow as you prepare your assets.

ASSETS TO SUPPLY TO DEMANDBASE

ASSET DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Landing Page URL Link to landing page N/A Must not be a blank page
Links to web fonts The font and font style you wish to use for the personalized text google.com/fonts or Adobe Typekit Limited to 1 font and 1 font style for the personalized text
Ad File Assets Adobe Animate CC or animated HTML files ready for personalization

Ad sizes:

  • 728x90 and 300x250
  • 160x600
  • 300x600
  • 970x250

Also accepted layered file formats to build out your HTML:

  • .PSD
  • .AI
  • .XD
  • Sketch

We DO NOT accept
After Effects files
at this time.

  • MUST INCLUDE 30 character placeholder text such as {Long company name goes here}.
  • Animation max length: 15 seconds, after which they must remain static.
  • Must be 100% SSL compliant (including Dart for Advertisers, Mediaplex and MediaMind).
  • Final published files will need to be under 500k
  •  

RESTRICTIONS

  • No HTTP. Ensure that your tracking server uses the HTTPS protocol, and that any internal redirects you have set up at your end use HTTPS.
  • No unapproved tracking or data collection pixels may be included in any ad creative without approval from Demandbase, prior to the Insertion Order.
  • No 4th party pixels allowed in the ad tags, including DoubleVerify, Rubicon, Marketo, BlueKai, Xaxis, etc.
  • No data collection with ad tags. Due to Ad Exchange/Publisher regulations, no data collection of any kind is allowed via the ad tags. If 4th party pixels are added to the ad tags at launch or anytime during the ad campaign the creative will be disapproved and campaign will be paused. This is strictly enforced by the AdExchanges.
  • No one-page redirects. Any redirect mechanism that uses an on-page method, like a JavaScript redirect, won’t work. If you use any such redirection mechanisms in your tracking redirect chain, they need to be changed.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Turn-around time for personalized banner preview is 3 to 5 business days. Multiple sets may take longer.
    NOTE: Although we attempt to match your existing creative as closely as possible, please allow for some slight variation in layout, animation and text length.
  • Please allow at least 48 hours between final approvals and actual launch date for testing purposes.
  • Once your ad is published, the “Ad Choices” icon will be overlayed in the upper right corner of the ad. It is there to provide consumers with enhanced information and choices about how and when data is collected or used to serve ads targeted to them based on their likely interests. NON-PERSONALIZED DESKTOP HTML ADS

If you do not want to personalize your HTML5 display ads but still want to target companies using our technology, your ads must meet the following criteria.

ASSETS TO SUPPLY TO DEMANDBASE

ASSET DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Landing Page URL Link to landing page included in your ad N/A Must not be a blank page
Ad File Assets Package of all animated files associated with your banner into a .ZIP file One .ZIP file containing the HTML and any of the following file types necessary for correct display:: .CSS, .JS, .HTML, .GIF, .PNG, .JPG, .JPEG, .SVG
  • Animation max length: 15 seconds, after which they must remain static.
  • Zipped file size limit is 500 KB or smaller.
  • The ad must be viewable and clickable without a network connection.
  • Must be 100% SSL compliant (including Dart for Advertisers, Mediaplex and MediaMind).
  • Must use at least a 1px border in any color other than white.

ACCEPTED 3RD PARTY VENDORS

  • DFA: Demandbase will use the “JavaScript Tag” version unless otherwise instructed. 
  • Sizmek/Mediamind

RESTRICTIONS

  • No HTTP. Ensure that your tracking server uses the HTTPS protocol, and that any internal redirects you have set up at your end use HTTPS.

NON-PERSONALIZED STATIC ADS

Demandbase can accept Static banners in JPEG. , PNG or GIF format.

  • GIF. can be animated, but the loop needs to be stopped after 15 sec. We cannot accept endless loop file.
  • The file size limit is about 500KB.
  • The file dimension has to be exact size and we cannot accept banner with 2X resolution. ( The file dimension of 160x600 has to be exact 160x600).

Once your ad is published, the “Ad Choices” icon will be overlayed in the upper right corner of the ad. It is  there to provide consumers with enhanced information and choices about how and when data is collected or used to serve ads targeted to them based on their likely interests. NOTE: You can rotate multiple sets of creative within a single creative placement. Please notify your Demandbase team of this so we can test test and approve each of your creative and landing pages.
