Data Processing Agreement

Updated:

The Demandbase Data Processing Addendum (DPA) for customers has legal terms and conditions that apply to the processing of Personal Data by Demandbase solutions when it is a data processor. This DPA is made available to existing Demandbase customers to bring their current contractual relationship with Demandbase in line with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the controller to processor relationship customers may have with Demandbase.

The current End User License Agreement (EULA) (and any versions released after July 2018) contain data processing terms that address the GDPR’s contractual requirements, including incorporating the DPA, so there is no need for customers who have executed such versions of the EULA to sign this DPA.

The nature and purpose of the processing of the Personal Data and type of Personal Data in each service is typically found either in the EULA, mentioned in the scope section of the DPA, or otherwise through documentation made available to Customer.  The data collection specifics for a Customer’s implementation may vary based on each customer’s specific configuration of the Demandbase services and the data that Customer allows to be shared with Demandbase.
