Selector Logic

Selector logic controls how multiple conditions are combined and evaluated to determine which records qualify for a selector. You can use AND, OR, or a combination of both to create simple or complex criteria.

Tip: By default, selectors use AND logic.

Configure Selector Logic

1. In the selector module, go to the Advanced tab.
2. Toggle on top right Edit logic.
3. In the Logic box, configure the conditions using the following options:
   • AND: Records must meet all specified conditions.
   • OR: Records must meet at least one of the specified conditions.
   • AND and OR: Combine both operators to create more complex logic.
     Tip: Use parentheses to group conditions and control the order in which they are evaluated.

Example of Combining AND and OR Logic

For example, to find accounts sourced from Demandbase in the Accounting industry, or any accounts classified as Mid Market, use the following logic:

(1 AND 2) OR 3

Where:

• 1: Source = Demandbase
• 2: Industry = Accounting
• 3: Account Type = Mid Market

This logic returns accounts that are sourced from Demandbase and belong to the Accounting industry, along with all Mid Market accounts regardless of source or industry.
