Context
In Demandbase Sales Intelligence, you can Take Action with people to add them to Gong Engage Flows, or add or remove them from Outreach Sequences and Salesloft Cadences. This allows you to send people to sales engagement tools directly from Demandbase, eliminating the need to switch to external platforms.
You can Take Action with Known and Net New people. See the following table for information about Known vs. Net New people.

The Take Action feature is available in the following areas of Sales Intelligence:

- People tab
- Person profile page
Prerequisites/Preparation
You must integrate Demandbase with one of the following sales tools:
- Gong. See Integrate Gong with Demandbase.
Important: To Take Action with Gong, your Gong must be integrated with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics CRM. - Outreach. See Integrate Outreach with Demandbase.
- Salesloft. See Integrate Salesloft with Demandbase.
To Take Action with Net New people records, the following requirements must be met:
- You must integrate Demandbase with Salesforce CRM or Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Important: Take Action is unavailable for Hubspot CRM. - The matched account must exist in your CRM. You can't create new accounts through the Take Action feature.
Steps: Take Action with Known People
- Log in to the Sales Intelligence iframe or web app.
- Go to and hover over a Known person record, click the export icon.
Tip: You can also Take Action with multiple people. Click the checkboxes next to multiple known people records and click the export icon.
- Select one of the following Take Action options:
- Add or Remove from Outreach Sequence
- Add or Remove from Salesloft Cadence

Add to Gong Engage Flow
Tip: You can't remove people from Gong Engage flows.
- Select assignee and workflow information from the drop-down lists. See the following articles for instructions.
- Click Confirm.
Steps: Take Action with Net New People
- Log in to the Sales Intelligence iframe or web app.

Go to and hover over a Net New person record, click the export icon.
Tip: You can also Take Action with multiple people. Click the checkboxes next to multiple Net New people records and click the export icon.
- Select one of the following Take Action options:
- Add to Outreach Sequence
- Add to Salesloft Cadence
- Add to Gong Engage Flow
- Add Net New people records to your CRM by selecting Export people as Contacts to CRM and click Continue.
Tip:
- Net New people must first be added as a Contact to your CRM before you can Take Action.

If you don’t want to add new Contacts to your CRM and only proceed with Known people, select Proceed only with people that exist in CRM, and go to Step 7.
- Find the desired matched account from your CRM and click Select.
Tip: You can only match people records to existing accounts in your CRM. - Click Next.
- Select the fields you want to export to your CRM and click Export.
Important: Make sure you select a value for required fields (Required flag in Salesforce, Business Required flag in Microsoft Dynamics).
- Select assignee and workflow information from the drop-down lists. See the following articles for instructions.
- Click Confirm.
