Understanding Contact Quality Score (CQS)

  • Updated

What is Contact Quality Score (CQS)?

Demandbase Sales Intelligence enriches your contact data with information sourced from various partners. The Contact Quality Score (CQS) ranks the accuracy of the contact data, with scores represented by grades A+, A, B, and C. CQS is calculated using factors such as recency of record, reliability of sources, comprehensiveness of contact data, job title, and popularity. Demandbase continuously updates the contact dataset to ensure accuracy.

Important:

  • CQS is only available for Current employee records.
  • You can only export CQS data to Excel or CSV files.

The following table shows the accuracy levels and corresponding grades for CQS:

80%+ A
70%+ B

How to Use CQS

You can assess the reliability of the contact data by looking at the CQS grade. You can also make sure you only see high-grade contacts by applying CQS as a filter. This allows sales professionals to connect with the right contacts, reducing the risk of reaching out to individuals who may no longer be with the company or whose information is outdated.

We recommend prioritizing contacts with grade A or higher. If high-grade contacts are unavailable, you may consider reaching out to contacts with lower grades.

CQS is available in the following areas in Sales Intelligence:

  • Global search results
  • List build
  • People tab within an Account record
  • Person details page
