Manage CRM Export Settings

Context

Demandbase One for Sales (formerly Sales Intelligence) admins can adjust Data Export settings from the Admin Portal. Data export allows Demandbase to export and update Account, Contact, and Lead data from Demandbase One for Sales to your CRM.

Prerequisites/Preparation

You must have admin privileges in Demandbase One for Sales.

Steps: Manage Export Settings by Field

  1. To access the My Profile page, do one of the following:
    • In the Demandbase One for Sales web app, go to Settings N.png Settings in the left navigation bar and click Unified Admin Portal at the top of the page.

    • In the Demandbase One for Sales iFrame or browser extension, click the three lines at the top right and select My Profile to open the web app.
  2. From the left navigation menu, go to Integrations and click the name of a Salesforce integration.

  3. Click the Accounts tab and find the field to update.
    Tip: You can edit export settings for Contact and Lead fields from the Contacts and Leads tabs. 
  4. In the Bulk Record Export and Single Record Export columns, select one of the following options from the drop-down lists:
    • No restrictions: Select to push all Demandbase data to CRM and overwrite the existing data. 
    • Update, if blank: Select to only push Demandbase data to CRM if the field is blank.
    • Do not update: Select to never push Demandbase data to CRM.

  5. Click Save

Steps: Manage Export Settings by Object

  1. To access the My Profile page, do one of the following:
    • In the Demandbase One for Sales web app, go to Settings N.png Settings in the left navigation bar and click Unified Admin Portal at the top of the page.

    • In the Demandbase One for Sales iFrame or browser extension, click the three lines at the top right and select My Profile to open the web app.
  2. From the left navigation menu, go to Integrations and click the name of a Salesforce integration.

  3. Click the Accounts tab and click Account export settings.
    Tip: You can edit export settings for Contact and Lead fields from the Contacts and Leads tabs.

  4. In the window that opens, toggle the following rules on or off.
    • In the Bulk Record Export and Single Record Export section, the options include:
      • Update existing records in CRM: Toggle on to let Demandbase update existing records in your CRM.
      • Create new records in CRM: Toggle on to let Demandbase create new records in your CRM.
      • Create duplicate records in CRM: Toggle on to let Demandbase create duplicate records in your CRM.
    •  In the Branch Export section, the option includes:
      • Export branch records to CRM as new account records: Toggle on to let Demandbase create new records in your CRM using branch information.

  5. Click Save
