Distribute Watchlists

If you’re a Sales Intelligence admin, you can distribute new and existing watchlists to other users. The number of watchlists that you can distribute depends on your license type. See Understanding Watchlists.


You must have admin privileges in Sales Intelligence.


  1. In the Sales Intelligence iFrame in Salesforce, click the three lines at the top right and select Account Admin.

  2. From the left navigation menu, go to Distribute Watchlists and click Add Watchlist to create a new watchlist to distribute.
    Tip: To distribute an existing watchlist, hove over the Send Watchlist column and click Send to more users.

  3. Enter a Watchlist Name.
  4. Select one of the following options from the Account Criteria drop-down list:
    • Account <User> owns: Select to add accounts owned by a user to the watchlist.
    • Open opportunities <User> owns: Select add all open opportunities owned by a user to the watchlist.
    • Custom Criteria: Select to use Salesforce fields to create a customized watchlist.
      Important: Watchlists can have up to 200 companies.
  5. Click Next | Select Users.
  6. Select one of the following options for distributing the watchlist to users:
    • Send Watchlist to all new and existing users: Select to distribute the watchlist to all users.
    • Send Watchlist to specific users: Select to search for specific users.
      Tip: To add users, search for them, hover over the Send Watchlist column next to their name, and click Send Watchlist.
  7. Click Done after you select users.
