Create and Manage Watchlists

You can create static watchlists and add companies and people to them. After you create your watchlists, you can export, delete, and reference them in List Build.

Prerequisites

You must have a Demandbase One for Sales Elite license.

Create a Static Watchlist

1. To access the Manage Watchlist page, do one of the following:
   • In the Demandbase One for Sales web app, go to Settings > Manage Watchlists in the left navigation bar.
   • In the Demandbase One for Sales iFrame or browser extension, click the three lines at the top right and select Manage Watchlists.
2.  At the top right of the page, click Create New.
   
3. In the window that opens, click Static Watchlist.
   Important:
   • The option to select a watchlist type only appears if you’re using the Demandbase One for Sales iFrame in Salesforce.
   • The number of watchlists you can create depends on your license type. See Understanding Watchlists.
4. In the window that opens, do the following:
   • Enter a Watchlist Name.
   • Select an Alert Frequency.
   • Select an Alert Type.
     • All News: All articles
     • Summary: Up to three most recent articles
   • Select an Email Format.
   • Click Save.

Add Multiple Companies to a Watchlist

1. In the Demandbase One for Sales web app, navigate to the Manage Watchlists page.
2. Click the name of the watchlist.
3. At the top right of the page, click Add.
4. Enter the name of the companies in the text box and click Search.
   Tips:
   • Enter the name of each company on a separate line in the text box.
   • Use the Search for companies in drop-down list to filter companies by location.
     
5. Select the checkboxes for the companies you want to add to the watchlist.
6. At the bottom of the page, click Add to Watchlist.

Export a Watchlist

1. In the Demandbase One for Sales web app, navigate to the Manage Watchlists page.
2. Click the name of the watchlist.
3. At the top right of the page, click Export and select Company or People to export the companies or people on the watchlist as a CSV file.
   

Delete a Watchlist

1. In the Demandbase One for Sales web app, navigate to the Manage Watchlists page.
2. Hover over the watchlist and click the delete icon that appears.
   Important: You cannot delete Frequently Viewed or Automated watchlists.
