Upgrade the Demandbase App Package in Salesforce

You can upgrade the Demandbase-Salesforce app package directly from the Salesforce AppExchange.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin privileges within your Salesforce environment. 

Steps

  1. Go to the Demandbase app package listing in the Salesforce AppExchange.
    Tip: To see if you have the most recent version, click the More Details tab and check the version number.

  2. Install the app package in production or sandbox environment.
    • Production: Click Get It Now.
      Important: There is no charge to upgrade the package.
    • Sandbox: Click Try it.

  3. Log in to Salesforce with Trailblazer.me.

  4. Install the app package in production or sandbox environment.
    • Production: Click Install in Production.

    • Sandbox: Select Try in your Sandbox, enter your information, and click Continue to Installation.
      Important: Only connect a Salesforce Sandbox to a Demandbase Sandbox.

  5. Check the Terms and Conditions box and click Confirm and Install.

  6. Select Install for All Users and click Upgrade.
    Important:
    • Installing the app for Admins only require the addition of component and class permissions for non-admins to view charts.

  7. The "Upgrading and granting access to all Users..." message appears.

  8. When you see the "Upgrade Complete!" message, click Done. The most recent Demandbase App is now available in your Salesforce.

1.33 July 2023

The following updates were made to the Demandbase iFrame:

  • In Salesforce Classic, the DemandbaseTabs_Contact tab can now be added to the Contact page layout.
  • In Salesforce Lightning, dynamic height adjustment is now available.
1.32 February 2023 An issue was resolved that prevented the DemandbaseTabs_Opp tab from loading correctly in the Demandbase iFrame.
1.3.1 July 2022

1.30 March 2022

The following new fields are now available:

  • High Intent Keywords
  • Competitive Intent Keywords

The previous versions of these fields were renamed:

  • High Intent Keywords - legacy
  • Competitive Intent Keywords - Legacy

Additional updates include:

  • Visualforce pages that are no longer used have been removed from the app package.
  • The character limit for the Demandbase Journey Stage field in Salesforce has been increased to 120 characters.
