Define Lead Source for Leads in Microsoft Dynamics

This article covers how to define the Lead source field for Leads as part of Demandbase One for Sales installation. 

Prerequisites

You must have admin privileges in Microsoft Dynamics. 

Steps

1. Log in to Microsoft Dynamics CRM as an admin user. 
2. Go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System > Entities > Lead > Fields. 
3. Click the checkbox next to LeadSourceCode. 
4. Click Edit.  
5. In Field Requirement, choose Business Recommended or Business Required.
6. In Auditing, choose Enable. 
7. Go to Options and:
   1. Click the + button. 
   2. In Label, enter Demandbase. 
   3. In Value, keep default value. 
8. Click Save and Close. 
9. Click Publish All Customizations.
